Job Description
Process engineering and discipline project design activities relating to concept, pre-feasibility, feasibility studies, EPCM and EPC projects within the gold sector. Applicants should have proven experience in processing plant operations, design, and commissioning. Management experience and a professional membership with SAIMM would be advantageous. Exposure to projects in South Africa and across the African region is essential.
Main functions include (but are not limited to):
Process Engineering Metallurgical Evaluation Technical Support Site Support Reporting and Documentation Peer review of estimates, schedules, proposals, designs and constructability Key Performance Areas (Responsibilities) Process Design and Engineering Autonomously carry out innovative detailed process designs following good engineering practices Ensure continuous improvement, lessons learnt, value engineering, fit for purpose and latest technologies are implemented.
