About the role
As a Senior Planner - RMA Consents, you'll help shape sustainable outcomes by delivering high-quality consent decisions. You'll work across a varied portfolio, assessing applications from straightforward to complex, including notified consents, ensuring sound and well-reasoned decision-making.
You’ll act as a trusted advisor to applicants, consultants, and internal stakeholders, and represent Council in mediation and Environment Court proceedings when required. You’ll also contribute to improving planning practices, support wider projects, and mentor less experienced planners to build team capability.
This role offers the chance to combine technical expertise with leadership and collaboration.
