Job Title: Senior Oversight Electrical Engineer
Location: Calgary or Edmonton, AB
Length: 1 Year (with potential extension)
Rotation: 3 days in office (Mon/Tues/Thurs) and 2 days remote (Wed/Friday)
Role Summary
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Oversight Electrical Engineer to oversee engineering and design aspects of utility‑scale solar and wind projects across the USA and Canada. This role is responsible for reviewing and managing EPC contractor engineering deliverables (IFR and IFC), ensuring compliance with project requirements, industry standards, and interconnection regulations.
The position also involves evaluating high‑voltage substation and renewable plant designs, supporting interconnection processes, and providing technical leadership throughout the full project lifecycle.
