The Senior Officer – Sanctions Advisory is responsible for providing expert guidance and specialized support for Ebury’s sanctions compliance framework across Global. This role serves as a crucial point of escalation, ensuring that complex business transactions, client onboardings, and operational queries are fully aligned with internal risk appetite and external regulatory requirements, including OFSI, EU, US and relevant local authorities.

What you’ll do

• Sanctions Advisory & Escalations: Serve as the SME for the business and first-line defense teams. Review and adjudicate complex Level 2/Level 3 sanctions escalations, providing clear, actionable advice on proposed transactions, trade finance deals, and high‑risk client onboardings.
