Senior Node.JS Engineer/Developer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend APIs and services for mobile and web applications.
• Support and maintain existing codebases.
• Refactor CoffeeScript code to TypeScript for improved efficiency and maintainability.
• Build reusable, testable, and efficient code.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in CoffeeScript and 3 years in Node.js/JavaScript.
• Strong experience with MySQL, DynamoDB, and Redis.
• Proficient in Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS (CloudFormation, API Gateway, AppSync/GraphQL).
• Familiar with automation and DevOps tools (Jenkins, DataDog, Loggly).
• Knowledge of frameworks and libraries such as Express, Lodash, Knex, and Sequelize.
• Experience with microservices architecture and full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
