Job Description
The Wall Street Journal is seeking a high-energy news editor for a role at the heart of our newsroom focused on world coverage. You will work collaboratively with our world bureaus and breaking news team to ensure we are first or fast the stories that matter most to our readers. You will be part of a tight-knit team of senior news editors charged with elevating the digital experience for our readers. You will be a fast and accurate line editor with the confidence to commission, edit, and publish – and in some instances write – the first takes of big breaking news.
You will also be the lead project manager responsible for building rich digital experiences for readers of our world coverage, working with bureau chiefs and reporters across different time zones from the conception of a story to its completion to ensure we attract and engage our readers.
