Senior Mine Geologist – Drilling and Reconciliation

Purpose

Reporting to the Chief Mine Geologist, the Senior Mine Geologist – Drilling and Reconciliation will drive operational efficiencies in the drilling department through rigorous contract management, technical optimization of drill patterns, and the implementation of KPIs to reduce the total cost per meter while maintaining high safety standards. They will also perform detailed spatial and statistical reconciliation between the long‑term resource model, short‑term grade control, and mill figures, identify trends in model performance, and provide actionable feedback to the mineral resource geologist.

Responsibilities

  • Drilling Program Strategy: Strategically design and execute the resource delineation drilling program. Own the budget, schedule, and contractor relationships, focusing on optimizing all‑in drilling costs through technical innovation and rigorous contract oversight.
