Senior Mechanical Engineer - Telescope Systems & Site Ops

Big Science Sweden is looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical systems for the CTAO‑South project at La Silla Paranal Observatory in Chile. This position involves overseeing the procurement, installation, and operation of vital mechanical systems, including power generators.

The successful candidate will also manage the installation of Cherenkov telescopes and support maintenance operations. A strong technical background in mechanical engineering and experience in site operations are crucial for this role.
