Senior Mechanical Engineer for CTAO-South Telescope Array

Big Science Sweden is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer for the CTAO-South position at the La Silla Paranal Observatory in Chile. The successful candidate will manage the procurement and operation of essential equipment and play a critical role in the installation of Cherenkov telescopes.

This position requires active collaboration with CTAO member institutes for assembly processes and support in technical operations related to maintenance of the telescope array. Ideal candidates will have experience in engineering roles relevant to infrastructure and equipment management.
