Job Description
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the design and review of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and drainage.
- Coordinate with architectural, structural, and electrical teams to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems with the overall design.
- Ensure all mechanical designs comply with relevant local codes, international standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, SMACNA, etc.), and authority requirements.
- Review and approve mechanical shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and ITPs.
- Evaluate energy-efficient and sustainable mechanical solutions for large commercial environments such as malls, food courts, cinemas, and back-of-house areas.
- Oversee site installation, testing & commissioning activities and ensure alignment with design and project specifications.
