Overview
Big Science Sweden is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer for the CTAO-South project at the La Silla Paranal Observatory in Chile.
Responsibilities- Oversee procurement, installation, and operation of mechanical systems, including power generators and handling equipment.
- Facilitate the installation of Cherenkov telescopes and assist in maintenance operations.
- Strong technical background in mechanical engineering.
- Experience in site operations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
