Senior Mechanical Engineer, Ctao-South Site Operations (Iquique)

Big Science Sweden is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer for the CTAO-South project at the La Silla Paranal Observatory in Chile.

• Oversee procurement, installation, and operation of mechanical systems, including power generators and handling equipment.
• Facilitate the installation of Cherenkov telescopes and assist in maintenance operations.

• Strong technical background in mechanical engineering.
• Experience in site operations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
