Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Description
This Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will support a program focused on airborne antenna system enhancements and redesign efforts. The team is developing lower-profile antenna solutions and the mechanical structures required to support and secure those installations. This is a true design engineering role requiring someone who can take concepts and requirements and develop complete mechanical solutions from the ground up.
The engineer will create and modify mechanical designs using CATIA, collaborate closely with stress and analysis teams, and ensure designs meet structural, thermal, and performance requirements. Daily responsibilities will include developing support structures, participating in design reviews, evaluating the impact of design decisions on structural margins, and supporting ongoing redesign efforts across the program.
