Job Summary

Senior Manager – Payroll Tax

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the payroll tax team, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
  • Oversee end‑to‑end payroll processing for client batch headcounts, including data processing.
  • Prepare and submit periodic statutory returns to authorities (Income Tax, EPF, SOCSO, HRDF, Tabung Haji, etc.).
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Lead projects related to system upgrades and implementations affecting payroll tax calculations and reporting.
  • Provide statutory compliance services, such as preparing annual tax forms for employers and employees (Form E & EA).
  • Generate and deliver relevant payroll reports to clients.
  • Advise clients on applicable legislation in the capacity of payroll specialists.
  • Manage client deliverables to meet agreed timelines.
