What is the opportunity? The Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing will influence sourcing decisions, drive supplier consolidation, cost savings and cost avoidance efforts. This role will use procurement best practices to mitigate risks for RBC as contracts are reviewed and negotiated. As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible to adhering to Contract Governance Standards while helping support the internal business teams by providing procurement opinion on contract deviations which may exist. Having strong communication skills and a passion for negotiating both general and commercial terms will be a valuable asset. You will be actively involved in negotiation and contract strategies for high risk/complex and sensitive sourcing initiatives - you will help provide cost effective, sustainable solutions for the RBC business teams and ultimately optimize total value generated from RBC's third party supplier base.
