We are currently looking for a Senior Liability Underwriter for our Liability department. This role involves underwriting large, complex or specialist cases to achieve new business and retention targets.

Responsibilities

• Review allocated complex and/or large Liability cases and deliver underwriting decisions against company plans within agreed timeframes.
• Take ownership and accountability of your Liability book of business, delivering on set KPIs as per company plans.
• Contribute to the creation of segment and local business development plans to identify existing and regular flow of new business opportunities.
• Ensure an effective relationship with Underwriting and Commercial colleagues and other stakeholders.
• Access and apply available underwriting tools, rating engines, protocols and technical insights to satisfy client and broker needs with tailored insurance solutions.
