Senior laboratory technician

Tasks will include: Cleaning and bench testing of items sent in for repairs, with use of diagrams and test instructions where available. Design, manufacture equipment and repair this equipment as needed, down to component level. Re-testing of these repaired units to verify operation. Specifying, ordering of components needed for manufacture and repairs. Performing administrative activities – performing day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining information files and process paperwork, filling out job cards on completion of repairs/testing and looking after all documentation. Develop, compile and maintain manufacture, repair procedure and test instructions. Support role to prepare and test all products manufactured in production workshop for factory testing before dispatch to project sites.
