About the Role
Senior Health Clinician – Te Oranga O Nga Rito
Role is based in the Whāngaia Ngā Pā Harakeke Team – Child Women and Family Service, Health New Zealand Waitematā. This fixed‑term position ends June 2027, with part‑time hours (0.4 FTE) and negotiable hours Monday to Thursday.
The Senior Health Clinician will be actively involved in the daily Safety Assessment Meeting (SAM), sharing health information and contributing to safety plans alongside partner agencies. The role is based at the SAM tables, working from the Henderson Police Station and the Oranga Tamariki Takapuna site.
Responsibilities
- Participate in multilateral decision‑making and safety planning during SAM meetings.
- Collaborate closely with statutory and community partners to coordinate inter‑agency responses.
