Job Description
Primary Responsibilities
- Responsible for day-to-day procurement related function ensuring that it is carried out within allocated budget.
- Responsible for updating of the Inventory Management System (IMS) as a running system always updated for supply and consumption of relevant items along with the updating of requisitions.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of supplies to vessels.
- To process invoices in the system and if necessary to follow up with accounts to ensure payment in timely manner in accordance with procedures.
- To assist the technical superintendents with review, updating and filing of the weekly and monthly reports for the assigned vessels.
- Assist and participate in any other technical task as required in the office, mainly filing and upkeep of technical reports.
