Senior Environmental Scientist

Education A degree in Environmental Science / Management. Experience 5-8 years in conducting impact assessments specifically within the mining industry. 5-8 years in environmental legal auditing (NEMA, NEMWA, National Water Act and MPRDA). Knowledge of applicable environmental and mining legislation. Additional qualifications Project Management certification would be advantageous. Knowledge of IFC and World Bank principles would be preferable. Must possess a valid passport and driver's license. Willing to travel throughout Africa and elsewhere, as needed.
