Job Description
Duties:
Qualifications and Experience:
- Install, test, and commission electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures, in compliance with regulations.
- Inspect electrical components, such as circuit breakers, transformers, and switchboards.
- Diagnose electrical faults and carry out repairs on industrial, commercial, or domestic systems.
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
- Ensure compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and company's safety policies.
- Maintain accurate records of all electrical work performed.
- Collaborate with other trades and departments to support site operation or project completion.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Grade 12 / Matric.
- Trade Test Certificate (Electrician) recognised by the Department of Labour.
- Valid Wiremans Licence (advantageous). <...
