Job Description
Lead electrical engineering initiatives for SABRE mining systems in Saskatoon. Your expertise in electrical design and instrumentation will enhance safety and production efficiency in mining operations.
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to oversee the MOC process, develop the Electrical Engineering Control Plan (EECP), and manage engineering documentation. The ideal candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on large-scale projects while ensuring compliance with industry standards. You'll be instrumental in implementing system upgrades and conducting hazard analyses to minimize risks in production.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage modifications and upgrades for electrical systems
• Develop and review the Electrical Engineering Control Plan
• Maintain engineering documentation including schematics and drawings
• Collaborate on changes with minimal production impact
• Oversee vendor changes and project budgets
