Senior Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to take ownership of electrical system design within an advanced battery engineering environment. Working closely with mechanical, software and manufacturing teams, you will ensure electrical designs are safe, robust and scalable, supporting high performance, low volume battery production programmes. The Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for: Leading the design and development of electrical architectures for battery modules and packs, including HV distribution, LV electronics, fusing, contactors, sensing and interconnects. Defining and maintaining system level and component level electrical requirements. Selecting and specifying electrical and electro mechanical components aligned to performance, safety and regulatory needs. Leading and contributing to electrical DFMEA activities to identify and mitigate design risks.
