Job Description

Role Overview
To effectively and efficiently perform duties at a senior level within the Development Engineering Section of Council with a focus on providing high quality expert engineering assessment of development applications and development permits, with timely delivery of advice to internal and external stakeholders and the general public. The position is also required to undertake regular onsite inspections of approved development works to ensure compliance with required standards.

Essential Knowledge & Skills: 
Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or other relevant tertiary qualifications with more than 5 years’ experience in development engineering and demonstrated experience in a senior role within a development engineering environment.
