Our client is a well-established machine builder designing, manufacturing and installing bespoke capital equipment for industrial customers in the UK and overseas. The Role
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will take ownership of mechanical design across a range of bespoke machinery projects, from concept through detail design to manufacture, installation and commissioning support. Typical work includes heavy fabricated structures, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, special purpose machinery and materials handling equipment.
Key responsibilities:
* Lead the mechanical design of bespoke capital equipment from concept to production-ready drawings
* Produce 3D models, detailed manufacturing drawings, weldment and fabrication drawings and full BOMs
