Senior Data Engineer for AI Evaluation on Snowflake & dbt

Upper Echelon NZ is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to develop data modeling using dbt on Snowflake for customer-facing AI. This role is pivotal in ensuring AI agents are accurate and helpful for a large enterprise.

You will design Snowflake schemas, build automated pipelines, and collaborate with various teams to enhance data quality and performance metrics. Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with dbt, Snowflake, data governance, and sensitive data handling.

This is a 6-month contract role based in New Zealand or the East Coast of Australia, with a strong likelihood of extension.
