Senior Commercial Executive - Ship Repairs (Gul)

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee commercial executives in handling major repair or upgrading work
• Make accurate estimate tender bid to secure vessels for repair and conversion work
• Source subcontractors for specialised jobs and complex work
• Prepare accurate and detailed invoicing to achieve desired margin
• Liaise with Ship Repair Manager and Project Supervisor for invoice preparation
• Settle invoice of completed projects with attending Owner Representative
• Assess, negotiate and settle subcontractor’s invoices

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years working experience in a similar capacity, with management experience
• Possess Diploma or Degree in an Engineering field
• Strong techno-commercial background in ship repair or marine construction
• Strong experience in cost estimation and analysis for new ship repair projects
