Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable and reliable infrastructure on AWS
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions (or similar tools)
• Manage containerized applications using Docker across Nix and Windows environments
• Deploy applications on AWS, Heroku, and Kubernetes
• Implement monitoring and alerting using tools such as Grafana, CloudWatch, or Prometheus
• Apply security best practices including firewalls, intrusion detection, and system hardening
• Monitor system performance and collaborate with developers to improve scalability and efficiency
• Support RDS PostgreSQL management and explore NoSQL solutions such as MongoDB
• Optimise and manage cloud costs effectively
