About the role

The International Visitor Access Charging programme is investigating the design and optimisation of a system to charge international visitors at four iconic high-use destinations (Piopiotahi/Milford Sound, Aoraki/Mt Cook, Tongariro Alpine Crossing and Mautohe/Cathedral Cove). Revenue captured will be used for projects that support sustainable tourism while protecting and enhancing Aotearoa New Zealand's natural environment. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in the design and evolution of the access charging system particularly related to compliance and revenue optimisation.

This includes shaping how data is captured, analysed, and integrated into system design and compliance strategy while still ensuring that international visitors continue to have a seamless world-class experience.
