Senior Bookkeeper - Food Industry - Benoni

Hire Resolve's Client in the food industry is urgently seeking a Senior Bookkeeper. The company is looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual to manage their financial records and ensure accurate bookkeeping functions. You would be responsible for recording and maintaining a business' financial transactions, such as purchases, expenses, sales revenue, invoices, and payments.

Responsibilities

• Record and maintain financial transactions and documents
• Monthly general ledger reconciliations.
• Cash books for 2 companies (5 Bank Accounts)
• Authorise local payments.
• Prepare and oversee payments.
• Approve creditor’s reconciliations and load payments in the banking system.
• Weekly sales reporting.
• Liaise with both internal and external audit teams.
• Credit control for both site divisions
• Understanding of VAT within transactions.
