Job Description
Overview
Finofo is seeking a Back-End Engineer who can build fast, iterate faster, and work tightly with Front-End Engineers and a UI Designer. You’ll help wire up real product features with real-world consequences, and when the design changes mid-implementation, you’ll collaborate with your team to adjust on the fly. This is foundational build work, not a maintenance role.
This is a VC-backed company with global ambition, requiring intensity, resilience, and ownership.
What You’ll Do
- Build and evolve core back-end systems using Python and PostgreSQL
- Own APIs that power key product flows, and shape how they evolve
- Work side-by-side with front-end engineers and designers to iterate fast and ship UI-driven features
- Write and maintain tests, and monitor your services
