Job Description: AWS L2 Operations Engineer
Position Overview
We are looking for an AWS L2 Operations Engineer to maintain, monitor, and optimize our cloud estate. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day health of our AWS infrastructure, handling routine technical operations, managing service requests, and responding to operational alerts.
As an L2 engineer, you will bridge the gap between initial triage (L1) and deep architectural engineering (L3), ensuring high availability, cost efficiency, and strict adherence to security baselines.
Key Responsibilities
1. Cloud Estate Management & Governance
Resource Lifecycle: Provision, modify, and decommission AWS resources (EC2, RDS, S3, VPCs) in accordance with change management policies.
Tagging & Compliance: Enforce enterprise tagging strategies and resource groups to maintain clear visibility into cost allocation, ownership, and environment separation (Prod vs. Non-Prod).
