Provides legal services on complex matters to advance Conservancy priorities and appropriately manage risk. This hybrid role based at the TNC South Africa office in Tokai, Cape Town supports assigned programs by ensuring transactions and activities are legally sound and aligned with the Conservancy’s mission, policies, and procedures. The candidate articulates complex legal concepts and options to assigned programs.

Responsibilities Assists in structuring activities to most effectively achieve Conservancy goals. Reviews organizational documents and prepares and examines contracts which may involve government grants, leases, licenses, purchases, sales, insurance, easements, etc. Influences decision‑makers in assigned programs through strong communication skills.
