Job Description
Via Medica in Association with International SOS is looking for a Senior Accounts Payable Accountant to join our Finance team in the UAE. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate AP operations, timely payments and smooth month‑end close while supporting service quality KPIs and strategic finance objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure accurate posting of trade and non‑trade payables to correct GLs and analytical dimensions
- Review journals prepared by Junior AP Accountants prior to system posting
- Process periodic and ad‑hoc payments with zero tolerance for errors or duplicate payments
- Reconcile vendor statements, aged balances and AP accounts
- Manage payroll journal postings and reconcile salary and payroll‑related accruals
- Support month‑end close activities in coordination with regional finance teams
