Senior Aircraft Maintenance Engineer

To ensure compliance with the South African Civil Aviation Regulations, Part 145 with regard to managing all engineers and maintenance operations at Port of operation as well as maintain high standards and discipline all while ensuring an uninterrupted helicopter service.

Responsibilities

• Perform all mandatory periodic inspections (MPI) on TNPA aircraft as determined by local authority and equipment manufacturer.
• Rectify all technical defects in accordance with approved procedures.
• Ensure airworthiness and readiness of TNPA aircraft for efficient service delivery.
• Manage all engineering staff at Port of operation on behalf of the Chief Aviation Engineer.
• Ensure that all maintenance activities are performed to the highest standards at Port of operation.
