Senior Accountant

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Senior Accountant will work closely with the VP for Finance and People Administration to ensure the accounting operations will run smoothly and financial reports are prepared on time. He/she will be responsible for overseeing the accounting operations of the client’s organization, preparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, and implementing accounting principles.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Serve as the primary point of contact, delivering tailored accounting solutions, managing budget and financial forecasts, delivering financial insights, and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax authorities, and other government agencies to ensure compliance, implement and update financial policies, controls, and risk management procedures, and provide proactive tax advice.
