Design a business development plan for the industry under his or her responsibility to build a network of clients and prospects via the following activities:
Implement a direct solicitation approach for prospects/stakeholders/clients.
Become an active member of industry associations.
Get references from clients and other association stakeholders.
Target client and prospect needs and anticipate how their situations may evolve, recommend strategies adapted to their needs.
Carry out preliminary risk analyses to ensure that financing structures are consistent with the Bank’s policies, programs and procedures.
