Job Description
Responsibilities
- Take concepts and ideas from brief or discussion and translate them into accurate, detailed 3D models ready for production
- Scale and adapt designs to fit specific size, space, or functional requirements without compromising structural integrity or design intent
- Prepare and optimise 3D models for printing, ensuring designs are structurally sound and print‑ready across different materials and scales
- Operate and manage both small desktop and large‑format 3D printers, handling setup, calibration, and maintenance
- Troubleshoot print failures, material issues, and hardware faults to minimise downtime and waste
- Post‑process printed parts including sanding, finishing, assembly, and quality checking
- Work closely with the engineering and product team to iterate on designs based on feedback and real‑world testing
