SEND Teaching Assistant

Overview

Axcis Education is working with a local primary school near Walsall, seeking a nurturing teaching assistant to support children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). This full‑time position starts in September and operates Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm.

Responsibilities

• Support children aged 4 to 11 with varying complex needs.
• Provide personalised and tailored support for all individual needs.
• Build meaningful, positive relationships with all students.
• Bring a calming influence to the classroom.

Requirements

• Previous experience supporting young people with SEND.
• Holds an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.
• Has a caring and patient nature, able to foster positive relationships with pupils.
• Available to work Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm.

Pay: £92.63 per day.
