SEN Teaching Assistant - KS2

Christ Church Hanham CE Primary is a school committed to enabling all children to flourish. We are recruiting for a Teaching Partner to join our nurturing school and provide tailored support to a pupil in KS2 with an Education Health and Care Plan.

This post will primarily be 121 support but there will also be an element of group support, both within and outside of the classroom, to enable pupils to learn effectively.

Applicants will need to have a sound understanding of SEMH and be able to use co-regulation strategies during class learning as well as unstructured times. Applicants will also need to be able to support the child to understand, and respond appropriately, to their own sensory social and emotional needs.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated team member who is passionate about nurturing pupils to regulate and learn effectively so that they can grow and flourish as successful young people.
