Our client is seeking an Semi-Skilled Diesel Mechanic to join the Markman, Port Elizabeth team,
Responsibilities
- Assist in servicing and repairing dieselengines on trucks and trailers
- Perform routine maintenance such as oilchanges, filter replacements, lubrication, and brake inspections.
- Assist with engine overhauls, gearboxrepairs, clutch replacements, and differential work.
- Conduct fault finding under supervision usingdiagnostic tools and equipment.
- Inspect vehicles and equipment to identifymechanical and electrical issues
- Replace worn or damaged parts includingbelts, hoses, brake components, and batteries
- Maintain accurate job cards and maintenancerecords.
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Healthand Safety (OHS) standards
