Summary About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at 10th Mountain Division at Fort Drum, NY. This position is only open to current employees of the command (US Army Forces Command.) Responsibilities Administer the Personnel Security Program in accordance with current laws, regulations and policy. Select Provide guidance for the issuance of all types of personnel security clearances, for agency and contractor personnel. Provide guidance on all security matters in connection with visits by agency personnel. Determine whether personnel concerned meet the security standards for employment, retention in employment, or the granting of the required degree of security clearance.
