About the role

The Security and Organisational Resilience Division requires a coordinator to deliver first‑line security and resilience services across NewZealand and overseas. The role is a temporary assignment until 30June2027.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the Ministry’s clearance processes and access card processes
• Manage the security or resilience mailbox, ensuring timely and appropriate responses
• Coordinate reporting, risk assessments and key operational documents
• Support the set‑up of the Emergency Coordination Centre and handle logistics in the early stages of a crisis
• Assist with the maintenance of key security systems and practices in NewZealand
