Job Description
Massey-Vanier High School is hiring a Secondary Teacher for Special Education focusing on WOTP subjects. This position is a replacement contract effective August 25th, 2026, until October 2026.
The role requires candidates to have or pursue valid Quebec teaching authorization or be enrolled in a Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching program. You'll teach subjects such as FSL, Autonomy, Geography, and Job Market Preparation while engaging with students in a supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach special education courses for diverse learners
• Develop engaging lesson plans focused on curriculum subjects
• Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies
• Collaborate with other educators and support staff
• Participate in school meetings and professional development
Requirements:
• Valid Quebec teaching authorization or enrollment in a teaching program
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and experience with youth
