Job Description
Position: 1 x Seamstress/Seamster / Sewing Room Supervisor
Duties
- Read works order and pick list to identify what is required for sewing / embroidery
- Coordinate sewing room work sequence according to the works order and pick list and communicate to supervisor
- Unpack new orders ready for embroidery/ sewing
- Mark garments of what and where to be embroidered/ reflective tapes to be applied
- Packing completed orders
- Stock take cotton spools in sewing room monthly and raise order if required
- Assist in sewing and embroidery if required
- General cleaning duties in sewing room
Requirements
- Verbal and written communication in English
- Attention to details
- Experience operating industrial sewing machines
- Experience with garment alternations
- Unlimited rights to work in Australia
Working Hours
Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm
