Join Seabird Island as an Out of School Care Assistant and play a vital role in promoting health and wellness among children. This position focuses on engaging kids through various physical and recreational activities.
Working part-time from 2pm-5pm, Monday to Friday, you will assist in fostering positive relationships and personal development within the community. You'll be responsible for nurturing, supervising, and supporting the emotional and social growth of children, making a lasting impact in their lives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver healthy snacks in compliance with guidelines
• Support children's social and emotional development
• Monitor and report any developmental concerns
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the facility
• Encourage positive behaviors through role modeling
Requirements:
• Responsible Adult Certificate required or willingness to obtain
• First Aid Level 1 and Food Safe Level 1
