Hays Education are delighted to be supporting a well-established secondary school in Wigan in their search for a Science Technician to join their busy and supportive science department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin or develop a career within a school laboratory environment. The role is offered on a part-time basis, working 3 days per week, with flexible days and hours that can be discussed upon registration. Available for an immediate start or from September, this position also has the potential to be a permanent opportunity for the right candidate. The school is keen to hear from individuals with previous experience in a Science Technician, Laboratory Assistant or similar role, but would also wee applications from candidates with a general science background or recent graduates holding a degree in a scientific subject who are looking to gain experience within education.
