An easy‑to‑access school in Sheffield is seeking a Science Teacher, who can inspire students, to join a highly successful and thriving science department.
The successful candidate will be committed to outstanding teaching and learning. This is a contract position, initially from September through to Christmas, but there may be the opportunity to continue beyond this and become permanent.
The school
The school is a high performing secondary school that teaches children between the ages of 11 and 18. It is rated “Good” by OFSTED and is a large multi‑cultural school with over 150 pupils in the sixth form. Its sustained academic success places it within the top 5% of schools in the country. The support teachers receive and the leadership style contribute to a high morale across the school. There is a strong emphasis on teamwork and a well‑developed system of professional development, with a wide range of in‑house training offered.
