Job Description
Part-time appointment. Located at the Queensbury Middle and High School, school calendar, hours: 8:10 -9:30 am and 10:30 - 2:00 pm. Starting at $18.79 per hour.
The position is typically combined with the part-time Parking Lot Caretaker at the Middle and High School, hours: 7:00 - 8:10 am and 2:00-3:00 pm. Starting at $21.25 per hour.
Job Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
Experience is preferred, but not required.
SCHOOL MONITOR Job Description: DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE CLASS: this is work of ordinary difficulty involving responsibility for assisting teachers by performing assigned routine tasks including the supervision and care of children. Since there are definite limits on the type and complexity of assignments, the class of School Monitor differs in that respect from Teacher Aide, which usually involves duties of grater difficulty generally requiring specific skills or abilities.
