SCADA & Protection Relay Test Engineer
Location:
Markham, ON
Duration:
6 months (potentially extendable)
Responsibilities SCADA & Grid Automation
Configure and test SCADA and distribution automation systems, including gateways, RTUs, and controllers.
Participate in SCADA system design and architecture, including:
Designing SCADA systems.
Creating and reviewing network and system architecture diagrams.
Configuring communication parameters and device settings.
Configure and validate SCADA communications (DNP3, Modbus, IEC 61850) to ensure proper data acquisition, alarms, controls, and status reporting.
Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis of SCADA system issues, communication failures, and integration defects.
